About This Digital Garden

A digital garden is a place of collection of all my works, notes, learnings, thoughts and opinions. It is meant to be like a free roam game, or like a real garden where you stroll through and discover fun unique spots.

This digital garden is architecturally made up of these units.
Think of this page like an OOPS (programming) description of the garden.

  1. Notes:
These are the atomic units of information. And pretty self explainatory.

  2. Orchards or Collections
Notes can be put into multiple orchards or collections, here the notes are not in any particular order, they're collected together based on some similarity with each other.

  3. Paths
Notes can also be arranged in a specific pre-defined path that has an order of reading. This is useful to illustrate a train of thought made via for a zettlekasten like notes that can be discovered, connected and used through this garden.

  4. Domains
Folders in the file system are known as domains and subfolders as subdomains. They are the 'primary' collections/orchards that a note belongs to, and usually the most abstract way to catergorize them. They might just also be an easier way for me to organize them as a writer, or be a way for me to group a higher number of notes together.
